Simply Let It Fade Away...

Where do I begin ?
Is it them or is it me,
Doesn't really matter,
this isn't going where it needs to be...

I try to act interested,
in what they talk about,
but it really just disgust me,
so I simply just X out...

Everyday I pretend,
I am something that I am not,
just to be somewhat civil,
to peeps I don't like a lot...

Some are just weird,
others are always depressed,
Some are very weak minded,
others just simply too stressed...

I know my life isn't perfect,
I often have some stress,
but I don't put it out there,
so to find out, yall would have to guess...

Every month it's the same thing,
it's like they never learn,
They play with the exact same fire,
and yes it still does burn...

What do we have in common,
Sorry my minds' gone blank,
Oh there it is, I got it,
simply just the Tank...

I asked myself the other day,
if not the tank, we passed on the street,
would we have a word to say,
or would we even skip a beat...

Then I thought of the places some go,
and the other things that they may do,
We would never hang in the same places,
I hate to say it, but it is true...

" Bird's of a feather, flock together ",
is what the quote does say,
but we are totally different birds,
flying a different way...

Of course I will still be nice,
be cool and always speak,
But the Tank will no longer be my home,
in there 7 days a week...

So, to the ones I am talking about,
I wont point fingers or call out names,
But no longer will I try to understand you,
with useless chat in between games...

And to those in the Tank that are cool,
who apparently I haven't dissed,
I am sorry but I can't hang as much,
so you, will be truly missed...

To some this may seem drastic,
but it has to be this way,
So don't try to make sense of it,
just simply let it fade way...

Go to your window, open it, take a nice breath of fresh air,
Yes, it's real, you can feel it, there is actually LIFE out there....
